My wellbeing journey started in 2018 when I gained a level 4 qualification in nutrition and weight management. I wanted to learn what food was healthy for my body to 
consume. 

Prior to this I had undergone genetic 
testing for the BRCA cancer gene, and it was through this process I was shocked to learn that 60% of what we put on our skin is absorbed by the body. When I read about this topic in more 
detail, I realised the damage a lot of 
chemicals in beauty products as well as certain foods can do to our precious 
bodies. 

I had a 50/50 chance of inheriting the BRCA gene and I am blessed that the test was negative. I did not take this for 
granted, so I embarked on a journey of 
spiritual self-discovery, physical health and general wellness that ultimately gave my mind, body and spirit the fighting chance it needs to stay as healthy as 
possible.

I dedicated myself to finding products that were 100% natural and organic. It wasn't easy, and so I started to learn how to make my own. 

As I found my way, I realised I could help others and so Karriboo was born.
